To help OTJ increase the quality, scope and volume of significant Architecture projects we complete on an annual basis while maintaining and enhancing the reputation and impact the firm has achieved in the areas of:
• Complex Building Repositioning’s/Additions for office, multi-family and hospitality buildings across the country
• Owner Occupied New Building or Additions
• Commercial Office Buildings
• Multi-Family Residential
• Hospitality
• Cultural and Performing Arts

• Work closely with Studio BD (architects and designers) to further develop relationships with clients and consultants
• Salesforce updates, meeting prep, tee ups, and follow as needed and identification of further connections for Studio BD
• Weekly pipeline review
• Be Market Knowledge Experts: Have a steady presence in and pulse on the market (know about all leads, be at events, help with brand awareness, etc.)
• Meet with and establish relationships with relevant sources of work and leads
• Attend annual conferences
• Get involved in relevant organizations, committees, attend events (Panels, happy hours, etc.)
• Scoop – entry, new contact outreach
• BD Research as needed
• Review Email Lead Sources
• Stay caught up on Salesforce contacts & opportunities
• Quarterly goals: Show examples of how you contributed to the firm goals being met. Examples include: Salesforce Report data from your dashboard shows opps you were involved with, key progress you’ve made with contacts that we want more work with (How you’ve helped them, intros you’ve made, projects you’ve negotiated, intel/scoop you acquired, existing clients you tag-teamed with architect on to develop further, number of contacts you’ve met, helped stay in front of in our focus & maintain categories, leads you’ve found that are promising or turned into opportunities, projects you helped bring in and/or close


• Business Development or Sales experience
• A/E/D/C experience a plus.
• Performance and Cultural base-building BD a plus
• CRM experience
• Extremely Organized
• Self-starter, needs a little direction, fast learner
• Responsive and thrives in a fast-paced work environment
• Friendly, positive and professional demeanor
• Very professional, polished appearance
• Excellent oral and written communication skills
• Flexible & reliable
• Open to feedback
• Outstanding customer service: internal and external
• Bachelor’s degree or higher
• Willingness to Travel 1-2 times a month
